About Me

My name is Joseph and I am from Williamsport Pennsylvania; home of the little league world series. In high school I played varsity soccer and was a member of numerous musical ensembles from jazz band and wind ensemble to concert choir and a cappella groups. During my high school years I participated in a number of musicals and have now done thirteen; including shows such as Les Miserables, West Side Story, Hairspray, and Sweeney Todd. I participated in PMEA choir and band, through which I qualified as a multi-year all state choirster and accrued fourteen festival medals. I have also had the opportunity to play on the national mall and have sung at the PA Governors Mansion as well as in the White House. I have three younger sisters who don't believe in silence and a dog named willow. I have always been one for hobbies, and for the last two years have kept poison dart frogs. I currently have five species, primarily from the dendrobates and ranitomeya genera. In answer to the popular questions yes, I have them in my room; no, I have not licked them; and no, they are not poisonous in captivity. Previous hobbies include pin collecting, baseball cards, coin collecting, competitive cup stacking, as well as twiddling and yes, at times twaddling.

Here at Penn State I am spending money to figure out what I want to spend more money on in the Department of Uncommitting students and am a member of the Penn State Marching Blue Band. I hope to get involved in choirs in a timely manner but none of the academic ones work in my schedule. If anyone is part of an awesome a cappella group feel free to let me know.
